Dumnikura - 6 February 2003

Dumnikura was carved out of Dalu parish, which included 43 villages at the time of its becoming a parish. On accepting the invitation of Bishop George Mamalassery of Tura diocese sisters arrived at Dumnikura on 23 January 2003. The house built by the diocese was blessed on 6 February 2003 and the official erection of the community took place on 11 March 2004 by Sr Lisette Thuruthimattam on her canonical visitation.

Ministries: Village tours, pastoral assistance in the parish, boarding, dispensary, and teaching in the parish school.
