Philobari - 11 February 1984

Responding to the invitation of Rt Rev. Thomas Menamparampil, Bishop of Dibrugarh our presence at Philobari was opened on 11 February 1984.   The pioneers were accompanied by Sr Mary Chalissery, superior general.   Official erection of the community commenced on the same day. 

Pioneers: Srs Mary Cicily (superior), Mary Regina, Capila Lakra and Jovita Malaikudil.

Ministries: Pastoral assistance, village apostolate, boarding, dispensary and teaching in the parish school.
