Bebejia - 20 February 2011

Bebejia belongs to the district of Nagaon, Assam under the archdiocese of Guwahati. We serve among the Tiwa community with our evangelizing ministries.  At the invitation of archbishop Thomas Menamparambil dated on 10 December 2010 we began this fourth mission in the archdiocese.  On 20 February 2011 sisters began to stay in a rented house and carried our home visitation and teaching in the school. Agreement of collaboration between SMI and the Archbishop was signed by Sr Lisette Thuruthimattam, superior general and Archbishop Thomas Menamaparambil respectively on 19 March 2011.
