Rukminigaon - 24 May 2008

Our hosue at Rukminigaon which serves as our provincial house is situated along the Guwahti –Shillong national high way.  This house was blessed ad erected as provincial house community on 24 may 2008 by Most Rev. Thomas Menamaparambil, the Archbishop of Guwahati in the presence of our superior General, Sr Lisette Thuruthimattam and many sisters working in this region and novices who were in regency in different communities in Northeast and many priests, religious and people of the locality. Sr Lisette installed Sr Madeline Miranda as the first locals superior of this house. An agreement of collaboration was signed between Archbishop Thomas Menamparambilof Guwahati Archdiocese  and Sr Lisette Thuruthimattam, our superior general on 1 January 2009.

Pioneers: Srs Sharlene Pulickal (provincial superior), Madeline Miranda (first councillor and local superior), Jancy Francis (councilor and secretary), Jocelyn Kunnathu, Miriam Barket Masih, Pribola Narzary, Asha Panna, Arockia Michael and Yamuna Arokyadoss.

Ministries: Co-ordination and animation of the province, pastoral ministry, liturgical preparation, faith instruction, home visitation, prison ministry, assistance of sick, study and formation house.
